Itinerary

Day 1

El Salvador

Arrival to El Salvador. Transfer to hotel. Lodging in Jiquilisco Bay.
Day 2

El Salvador

Enjoy a Monkey's tour, walking through the forest until you reach their home. After calling their names, the monkeys come down the trees and interact with the visitors. For the cacao tour you will learn about the history and the process of the cacao while visiting a plantation. You will be able to see and taste the fruit. In the afternoon a boat tour will takes you through the canals of Jiquilisco Bay where you will enjoy the beautiful views of the mangroves with the volcanoes in the background . Lodging at Puerto Barillas Lodge.
Day 3

Day 3

Free day to relax at the lodge or a wonderful opportunity for an optional sea turtle tour. In this tour, you will join a group of scientist who capture a sea turtle for educational and conservation purposes. You will witness the different tests as well as how they place and electronic device that allows them to monitor the lodging at Puerto Barillas Lodge.
Day 4

El Salvador

Private transfer to airport for departure flight.
