A modern, yet historic city, Malaga has an air of Mediterranean port including a charming historic center with Gothic catedral surrounded by traditional buildings, narrow pedestrian streets and the best tapas bars. Recently, the capital of Costa del Sol, has invested in its culture and heritage with new museums like the one dedicated to her son Picasso. Malaga is a joy to stroll around, where you also can discover a Roman ampitheatre, the historic Alcazaba, a palace - fortress which dates from the 11th-century with caliphal horseshoe arches, courtyards and fountains; the Gibralfaro Castle (14th century) and the Malagueta city becah. Of course the famous Costa del Sol, with its beaches, as well as, beautifull landscapes and pictorisque villages are not far from the city center.

Upon arrival to Malaga Airport you will be welcomed by our driver and then transfer to the hotel. Check-in and rest of the day free to explore the capital of Costa del Sol. Birthplace of Picasso, the vibrant cosmopolitan city of Malaga is situated on the beautiful Andalucía coastline. In Malaga, the figure of Picasso is everywhere. In addition to the painter's House-Museum, the best example is the Picasso Museum, founded in 2003, it was an answer to a wish of the artist himself that his work be represented in the city of his birth and it features more than 200 works covering the different styles, materials and techniques used by the great artist. Another visit not to be missed is to the Carmen Thyssen Museum with its excellent collection of 19th-century Spanish painting. You can also simply stroll around Malaga’s historic centre to visit monuments like the cathedral, a fine example of an Andalusian Renaissance church; the Alcazaba, a 10th-century Arab palace-fortress; and the Roman Theatre.
