Itinerary

Day 1

Santiago (Chile).

Arrive and transfer to the hotel . Afternoon we would do a half day city tour . Santiago is the Chilean Capital, and it is located in a valley, between the Andes Cordillera and La Costa Cordillera. The high peaks of the Andes Mountain Range face the east and over there one can find the most modern constructions that have transformed Providencia and Las Condes areas into important financial and service centres of the country. While visiting Santiago, Constitución Square and “The palace of the coin” (Palacio de la Moneda) are worth to be visited. The Cathedral and Santiago Council are found in the area called Plaza de Armas.
Day 2

Santiago –Valapariso- Santiago(Chile).

Today we are going to visit Valparaíso. It is a picturesque cosmopolitan city, and its landscape is framed by multiple hills, among and above which the city has been built; a city that with inventiveness and technology has acquired a quite particular aspect because of its adaptation to the environment. In 2003 its historical old part of the city was declared by UNESCO as Patrimony of Humanity. Return to Santiago and accommodation.
Day 3

Santiago (Chile)/Buenos Aires (Argentina).

Transfer to Santiago airport. Fly to Buenos Aires. After the welcome at the International Airport of Ezeiza, the trip to the selected hotel will take place. During the afternoon, we will make a city tour over the Buenos Aires city, showing its different districts, communities and architectural styles. Return to hotel. Accommodation.
Day 4

Buenos Aires (Argentina).

After breakfast we would do a half dat Tigre Tour to visit the Paraná Delta: we will visit the residential slums of the north area of the city, passing by the presidential residence in Olivos district. Over there, we will get on the Train of the Coast, whose route along the coast of the de la Plata River enables the sightseeing of its attractive ravines. Once in Tigre area, we will get on a catamaran to enjoy a relaxing trip with a wonderful view of the Parana Delta, an area of subtropical rainforest made of thousand islands and islets. Return to the city centre. Accommodation.
Day 5

Day 5 - Buenos Aires (Argentina).

Today we would do a Gaucho party: it is a visit to a very typical ranch of the Argentinean humid pampas, one of the most fertile meadows of the world and very famous for meat and cereal production. Over there you will be able to enjoy horse ride tours, a “regional barbecue”, music shows, folk dances and other shows of gaucho skills. Return to the city centre. Accommodation.
Day 6

Day 6 - Buenos Aires-Colonia del Sacramento (Uruguay).

Transfer to local pier to board the fast ferry to Colonia: La Colonia del Sacramento: it is an old colonial city from the seventeenth century located over the oriental bank of the De la Plata River. It has a very well maintained architectural wealth. It is highly recommended to take a pedestrian ride along the old fortress used to avoid the advance of the potential enemies. The old historical part of Colonia city was declared by UNESCO as World Heritage of Humanity in 1995, since it is a successful mixture of post-colonial Portuguese and Spanish styles. Day 7

Colonia del Sacramento-Montevideo ( Uruguay).

Transfer to the local bus station. Travel by local bus to Montevideo. Arrive and half day city tour: it is the capital city of Uruguay and the most important city of the country. It has an ideal bay, which constitutes a natural port, the most important of the country. Accommodation.
Day 8

Montevideo-Asunción (Paraguay).

Transfer to local airport. Fly to Asunsion. Arrive and transfer to the hotel. Afternoon hald day visit around Asunción del Paraguay, main city and capital of the Paraguay Republic. We would visit the new and old areas of the city and the markets. Accommodation.
Day 9

Asunción (Paraguay).

Today we would visit 8 towns of artisans outside the capital: it is called the Gold Circuit. Those towns are Ita (ceramic), Yaguaron (very famous the church): also we would visit Caacupe, Tobati; Atyra, San Bernardino (summer resort); Itaugua and Aregua. Accommodation.
Day 10

Asunción/ Puerto Iguazú (Paraguay/Argentina).

Transfer to the bus station. Travel by local bus to Puerto Iguazú city in Argentina (it takes 5hrs). Arrive and transfer to the hotel. Accommodation.
Day 11

Puerto Iguazú (Argentina).

We will make the tour to the waterfalls, covering them from the Argentine side. After entering the National Park Iguazú, we will make a long walk along the lowest part of the waterfalls, to later visit the upper part of the footbridges. Accommodation.
Day 12

Puerto Iguazú (Argentina/Brasil).

During the afternoon: Half-day tour to admire the waterfalls from the Brazilian side. Accommodation.
Day 13

Foz do Iguassu -Rio do Janeiro (Brasil).

Transfer to the airport. Fly to Rio do Janeiro. Arrive and tranfer to the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Accommodation.
Day 14

Rio do Janeiro (Brasil).

Today we would do a half day visit in Rio: besides its warm and colourful beaches and a great bay of excellent conditions for sailing, has a forest in the heart of the city, the Tijuca Forest, which was completely replanted during the nineteenth century and which constitutes the biggest urban forest of the world. With its open mind, Rio de Janeiro city receives and respect all artistic manifestations. The centre of the city is a springboard, from where we can go deep in its history and find images of an old Rio de Janeiro city, a colonial Brazil, of a city which was venue of a European reign – Portugal, of an Empire and then a Republic. Day 15

Rio do Janeiro (Brasil).

Hald day visit the of the Pan de Azucar: Rio de Janeiro shows not only the beaches of Arpoador, Ipanema, Copacabana, Lebon and Barra de Tijuca, but also in the peaks that compose any postcard of the city, such as the Corcovado, which holds the giant image of the Cristo Redentor, with its warm open arms and the “Pan de Azucar” (Sugar leaf of bread), which can be visited by a cable vehicle better known in Rio as Bondinho do Pão de Açúcar, inaugurated in 1912. Accommodation.
Day 16

Rio do Janeiro /End of the trip.

Transfer to the international airport to fly back home. End of our services.
