Renowned for its outstanding works of art in paintings, sculptures, literature, music and architecture, the capital of Czech Republic, is the equal of Paris in terms of beauty. Prague maze of cobbled lanes and hidden courtyards is a paradise for the aimless wanderer, always inviting him to explore a little further. Not far from the Old Town Square you can discover ancient chapels, charming cafes and old-fashioned bars. The architectural tapestry of Prague spans virtually every European genre. Each façade displays the work of a painter or sculptor and behind those, many of the most famous musicians have worked, including Dvořák, Smetana and Mozart. Also, since the invention of Pilsner Urquell in 1842, the country has been famous for producing some of the world's finest beers.
