Itinerary

Day 1

Tel Aviv

Arrival at Tel Aviv Airport, welcome and transfer to the Hotel. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem.
Day 2

Jerusalem

After breakfast the day will be dedicated to visit In the Old City you will encounter oriental charm and be plunged into the souk’s colorful alleys which take you to the meeting places of the three major monotheistic religions: whether along the Via Dolorosa or the Holy Sepulcher, the Dome of Rock and the Wailing Wall, you will be projected into the past, overwhelmed by its inhabitants’ array of experiences, those who have imprinted upon the city their unique religious and architectural marks. Across the Cardo, the old roman city to Mt Zion, discover other places of significance: Monastery of the Dormition, the cave of the Last Supper and the Tomb of King David. Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Jerusalem.
Day 3

Jaffa - Haifa - Acre - Nazareth

After breakfast, you will drive along the Mediterranean coast to the legendary city of Jaffa. You will then continue to the port of Haifa and Mount Carmel where Elijah challenged Queen Jezebel and the prophets of Baal. You will visit the Acre, the Ancient town of St. John of Acre. It was the Crusaders who for two centuries made the city an important base. Its high, fortified walls overlooking the sea are a feast for the eyes. You will visit there El Jazzar Mosque, the ancient Crusader city, the Caravanserai and oriental bazaar dating back to the nineteenth century. Overnight at the hotel in Galilee.
Day 4

Nazareth - Lake of Tiberias

After breakfast, you will move onto Lake Tiberias, one of the main places of Jesus' activities including it being the place he called his first disciples. A day immersed in Biblical significance on the Galilee and on the shores of Lake Tiberias, is a fascinating journey through time, reuniting you with events that have shaped and will forever shape the history of our civilization. Around the lake you will visit the beautiful church of Tabgha which is remembered because of the miracle of the multiplication of loaves, and the Mount of Beatitudes and Capernaum, with the house of St. Peter. You will visit the Jordan River. Back to Nazareth, visit the Basilica of the Annunciation. Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Galilee.
Day 5

Nazareth - Jerash - Amman

After breakfast, cross to Jordan via the Sheik. Hussien borders. Start the visit by Jerash - A close second to Petra on the list of favorite destinations in Jordan, The ancient city of Jerash boasts an unbroken chain of human occupation dating back more than 6,500 years. It lies on a plain surrounded by hilly wooded areas and fertile basins. Conquered by General Pompey in 63 BC, it came under Roman rule and was one of the ten great Roman cities, the Decapolis League. Jerash, was known as the Pompeii of the east, and also known as the city of 1000 pillars, you will also visit the triple arched gate, the huge hippodrome, the theatre... continue to Amman. Amman is the capital of Jordan, a fascinating city of contrasts - a unique blend of old and new, ideally situation on a hilly area between the desert and the fertile Jordan Valley. The visit will include the fascinating Roman Theatre and Nymphaeum that reflect the historic legacy of the city, and the enchanting Citadel which has stood since the ancient times of the Ammonites. Diner and overnight at the hotel in Amman.
Day 6

Amman - Madaba - Mt. Nebo - Kerak - Petra

Morning depart to Madaba. Day dedicated to the kings road, ancient Silk Road. Stop in Madaba, the City of Mosaics which has the most famous mosaic map of the holy land ’6th century’, depicting Jerusalem and the Holy Land. Then Road to visit Mount Nebo , Mount Nebo is where Moses was given a view of the holy land, where he died and was buried. Here there are ruins of 4th and 6th C. churches whose floors are still covered with marvelous mosaic. The memorial of Moses offers spectacular views of the Jordan Valley. After the visit, crossing the Moujip Valley (Wadi al Moujip) spectacular Canyon between Madaba and Kerak. Visit the Kerak castle, built by the Crusaders in the 12th century. We will arrive in the evening with the sunset over the mountains of Petra. Dinner and overnight at hotel in Petra.
Day 7

Petra a city carved into the rock

Full day visiting Petra Site. Petra – one of the world’s greatest archaeological sites and today’s one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. The 2,000-year old ancient city of Petra. Known as the red rock city, Petra was the ancient capital of the Nabateans from the 3rd century BC to the 2nd century AC. Carved by the Nabateans out of solid rock, Petra was forgotten for hundreds of years until it was rediscovered in 1812. At the entrance to Petra travelers are offered the option to ride a horse for 800m – from the visitors centre to the entrance of the dramatic «Siq» (canyon). From the entrance to the Siq there is a 1,250 meter walk to the 1st monument The treasury. Throughout most of the day we will explore Petra’s incredible structures: the treasury, the field of tombs, the obelisks and the altar, and much more. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 8

Petra - Jericho - Bethlehem

After breakfast, transfer to Allenby Bridge border crossings with Jordan to the Holy Land. Welcome and transfer to the green oasis near the Dead Sea- Jericho- which was made famous by the discovery at Tel el-Sultan, of one of the oldest cities of the Levant dating from the eighth millennium BC. Visit Hisham Castel and admire the Mount Quarantine. Proceed to the canyon of Wadi Quelt to see the beautiful St. George Monastery built against the ochre cliffs of the mountain. Continue to Bethlehem. Diner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 9

Bethlehem - Jerusalem

After breakfast, there will be a tour of Bethlehem where it all began. You will visit the Basilica of the Nativity, the oldest church in the world which is built over the cave that housed Christ at his birth. You will also see the Chapel of St. Jerome (who translated the Bible into Latin), the Church of St. Catherine, Milk Grotto. In Beit Sahour, you will discover the ruins of the Byzantine Monastery of the Shepherds Field. Drive to Jerusalem, in this unforgettable city, pilgrims and visitors retrace the greatest story ever told. Visit the Mount of Olives which stands at 827m high, not only offers a wonderful panoramic view over the Old City, it also houses places of high importance to the three monotheistic religions. The Chapel of Dominus Flevit, the Shrine of the Ascension, the Tomb of the Virgin and the Church of All Nations, Gethsemane, the Church of Pater Noster. Than enter in the old city, walk through the souk. Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Bethlehem.
Day 10

Bethlehem - Dead Sea - Massada - Qumran

After breakfast, Through remarkable scenery of the Dead Sea we'll continue to Masada which is situated right on an isolated cliff in the Desert. The site has been declared as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2001. Ascend by cable car to the fortress, which was the last stronghold of the Zealots in their war against the Romans. Visit the excavations, King Herod’s palace, the synagogue, bathhouse and much more. Enjoy the breathtaking view of the Roman camps and the Dead Sea. you will have the opportunity to enjoy the indescribable feeling of floating on the Dead Sea. Nearly 300m below sea level, the Dead Sea is the lowest point on the earth’s surface. Bring your swimsuit as if weather permits it’s possible to float on the salty, mineral rich water. Visit the site of the Qumran Caves where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered. Return to Bethlehem for diner and overnight.
Day 11

Bethlehem - Tel Aviv

After breakfast, transfer to Tel Aviv airport for the return flight.
