Day 2
Buenos Aires
During this day, we will make a City Tour over the Buenos Aires city, showing its different districts, communities and architectural styles. Return to hotel. Accommodation.
Day 3
Buenos Aires - Salta.
Transfer to the local airport to fly to Salta. Reception and transfer to the hotel. Accommodation.
Day 4
Salta - Cafayate - Salta
Today we will make a full day visit to this peculiar geography, sculpt by the winds and the sun: amazing rocky formations of ravines and multicolored hills that protect villages by means of adobe brick and straw constructions. The dryness of the landscape changes when reaching Cafayate, where great areas of vineyards can be observed (these vineyards are better known for the manufacture of the famous “torrontés wine” – white and fruit wine – typical of the zone). Return trip to the city of Salta during the afternoon. Accommodation.
Day 5
Salta - Quebrada de Humahuaca - Salta
We leave early in the morning to the province of Jujuy, reaching the Quebrada de Humahuaca, a natural way climbing up to the High Plains. The colourful landscapes frame a group of towns, with adobe brick houses, historical chapels and prehispanic ruins where time seems to be stopped.
We will visit the beautiful towns of Purmamarca, Maimará, Tilcara and Humahuaca. This singular and natural route, known as “La Quebrada de Humahuaca” (Humauaca`s ravine) was declared by UNESCO as Cultural Landscape of Humanity on July 2nd, 2003. At night we return to Salta to stay at a hotel. Accommodation.
Day 6
Salta – Buenos Aires
Transfer to the local airport of Salta to fly back to Buenos Aires. Transfer to the international airport of Ezeiza. End of our services.
