Itinerary

Day 1

Delhi

Welcome to India! Upon arrival at India Gandhi International Airport, you are greeted by our representative. Transferred to hotel where our representative helps you check in and briefs you about the tours. Have some free time on your own to adjust to the new time zone. Later head to Old Delhi for the magnificent Jama Masjid, India’s largest mosque; then a unique glance at local life by an exploration to the bustling local bazaar of Chandni Chowk on rickshaw. Raj Ghat - the cremation sites of Mahatma Gandhi. Also pass through the Red fort by Car. Overnight at Delhi.
Day 2

Delhi

Breakfast at hotel, your tour guide will pick you up in hotel lobby then head to New Delhi for the tallest stone tower in India, 800-year-old Qutub Minar surrounded by ancient Hindu and Muslim complex. Continue to Humayun Tomb & Lotus Temple, Drive along the city landmark of India Gate, President's House, Parliament House & Government Secretariat Buildings and stop for photo opportunity there. Finish today with an insight into the local religion at a colorful Hindu temple-Laxmi Narayan Temple. Overnight at Delhi.
Day 3

Delhi – Mandawa by Road

Morning drive to Mandawa. Arrive and transfer to hotel. Afternoon free. Overnight at Mandawa.
Day 4

Mandawa - Bikaner

Morning visit Mandawa. Mandawa town was founded in 1755 by Thakur Nawal Singh and is still the home of his descendants. Mandawa houses a collection of armories, costumes of ancestors, canons from 1820, ancient coins, numismatic collection and many other interesting items preserved in a museum. Mandawa has beautiful frescoes, havelis & mansions. Later drive to Bikaner. Arrive and transfer to hotel. Overnight at Bikaner.
Day 5

Bikaner - Jodhpur

Morning visit Bikaner. The city is bolstered by imposing walls and has a 16th century fort housing old palaces, temples and a mosque. Founded by Raja Rai Singh, the fort is distinguished by its long range of 37 pavilions, a line of balconies and aerial windows of varying designs. An enormous arched doorway leads to the Joramal Temple. The royal chapel is Har Mandir where royal weddings and births were once celebrated. Later drive to Jodhpur and transfer to hotel. Overnight at Jodhpur.
Day 6

Jodhpur a Jaipur

Morning Visit to Jodhpur. Visit the Meharangarh Fort, situated on a low sandstone Hill, including Moti-Mahal and Phool Mahal. Also visit Jaswant Thada, an imposing Marble Memorium built in 1899. Later drive to Jaiipur. Arrive at Jaipur and transfer to hotel. Overnight at Jaipur.
Day 7

Jaipur

Morning visit the Amber Fort - the ancient capital of the State. Visit the Sheesh Mahal or the Hall of Victory glittering with mirrors. Afternoon tour of Jaipur. Jaipur - the capital of Rajasthan was given a colour coat of pink a century ago in honour of a visiting Prince. Built by Maharaja Jai Singh, the notable astronomer, this city is 260 years old. Visit Maharaja's City Palace, the Observatory & Ram Niwas Gardens. Drive past Hawa Mahal & through the pink rose residential and business areas. Overnight at Jaipur.
Day 8

Jaipur à Ranthambore

After breakfast, Head for Ranthambore this morning. Arrive Ranthambore and transfer to hotel. Day free at leisure. Overnight at Ranthambore.
Day 9

Ranthambore

Breakfast at hotel. Then start your first jungle safari at Ranthambore National Park. Ranthambore is Rajasthan's first Project Tiger reserve & named after a 1000 year old fort which stands in the park. It has a congenial habitat for the stately sambar, the largest of all Asiatic deer. Tigers, chital, wild boar & other animals are also found here. Woodland, ground and water-birds abound the park including the uncommon red jungle fowl & varieties of eagles. Water tank harbours marsh crocodile and python. In the afternoon, start another jungle safari at Ranthambore National Park, Rajasthan's first Project Tiger Reserve. You will get close to nature and meet tigers, sambar, chital, wild boar, water birds, etc. Make sure your camera is fully charged. After that, get back to your hotel. Overnight at Ranthambore.
Day 10

Ranthambore - Fatehpur Sikri - Agra

After breakfast in the hotel, drive to Agra visiting Fatehpur Sikri enroute. Fatehpur Sikri is 40 Kms from Agra and built by Emperor Akbar in1569 and abandoned after 15 years due to scarcity of water. See the graceful buildings including the Jama Masjid, Tomb of Salim Chisti, Panch Mahal and other Palaces. Arrive at Agra and transfer to hotel. Overnight at Agra.
Day 11

Agra to Delhi

Morning visit the world famous Taj Mahal built by the Moghul Emperor Shahjehan in 1630 for his Queen Mumtaz Mahal to enshrine her mortal remains. Also visit the Agra Fort containing the Halls of Public and Private Audience. Later drive to Delhi & transfer to the hotel. Overnight at Delhi. Note: Taj Mahal is closed on every Fridays
Day 12

Delhi

After breakfast day at leisure. Check-out from hotel at 1200 Noon. Later in time transfer to airport to board the flight for onward journey. No hotel in Delhi.
Day 13

Departure from Delhi

Departure from Delhi at 0235 Hours.
