 DAY 1    Seymour (L,D)

Upon arrival we are met by our naturalist leader who will assist with the transfer to our boat, the G.A.P Adventurer. We set sail and reach Seymour Island in the afternoon. Our first landing gives us a great introduction to such birds as the magnificent frigate bird, blue-footed boobies and swallow-tailed gulls.

 DAY 2    Bartholome (B,L,D)

We disembark at Bartholome island and go for a short hike. Drink in the fresh, pure air while enjoying an awesome view of San Salvador Island. Our naturalist will interpret the geological history of Bartholome and explain its dramatic volcanic features. We may see the rare Galapagos penguin.

 DAY 3    Rabida (B,L,D)

The ship then makes her way to Rabida Island where we visit a salt water lagoon rich in wildlife and vegetation. A large sea lion colony provides great photo opportunities.

 DAY 4    Santa Cruz (B,L,D)

In the morning we arrive in Porta Ayora, on Santa Cruz Island. Morning at leisure. Remain on board or disembark and spend a few hours on the beach. In the afternoon we make our way to the Charles Darwin Station. See giant tortoises and learn about Darwin’s studies of the wildlife. Before returning to the ship, do some shopping and explore this charming port prior to setting sail.

 DAY 5    Floreana (B,L,D)

On Floreana Island we stop at Post Office Bay. This is a historic site where mariners from around the world would deposit and collect letters from a 'post office barrel'.

 DAY 6    Espanola (B,L,D)

We make our way to Suarez Point on Española Island. This is the most southernmost island in the Galapagos archipelago and it is home to several wildlife species, including masked and blue-footed boobies.

 DAY 7    Santa Fe (B,L,D)

We set sail and reach Santa Fé Island early in the morning. The guide will explain how the mangrove tree can survive in its harsh environment. Learn about the features and habits of prehistoric-looking marine iguanas.

 DAY 8    Santa Cruz (B)

This morning we reach Baltra on Santa Cruz Island. After a brief visit to South Seymour for one last look at frigate birds, blue-footed boobies and sea lions, we transfer to the airport for our flight to Quito. Upon arrival, we transfer to our group hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure.
