Caracas, the Caribbean Capital of South America: |

Caracas, the vibrating Capital of Venezuela, is situated in a green valley, at the base of the Avila Mountain and at 950 meters of altitude. Caracas is a big and cosmopolitan metropolis with a mixture of skyscrapers slums and luxury villas. The city rushes doped by “petrobolivars”, and its faculty is to brush the asphyxia with its five millions inhabitants. Just at 30 kilometers from the Caribbean Sea, the city arises when everything else is asleep. Arrival to Maiquetia International Airport. Assistance and transfer to the Hotel (45min). Canaima, a visit to the Lost World (BLD): |

Breakfast. Transfer to the airport. Flight to the wonderful Canaima National Park, the biggest park of Venezuela (3 millions hectares). It is surely one of the most unspoiled locations in the world today, home of the Angel Falls (the highest waterfalls in the world with 979 mts high), with more than 80 beautiful waterfalls. Canaima is a majestic ancient land of tepuys and one of the oldest formations in the planet (1.8 billion years old), with jungles, savannahs and mysterious rivers of lost legends. If weather conditions allow it, we will take a flight to pass over the Angel Falls, the Devil’s Canyon and the majestic
Auyantepuy Mountain. Upon arrival welcome cocktail. Promenade in Canaima Lake. Then cross the Canaima lagoon in dug out Indian canoes moved by Indians. Pass the Ucaima, Golondrina and Hacha waterfalls that fall spectacularly into the lagoon, and take a short walk through light tropical forest and savannah to the base of the Sapo waterfalls. Here we have time for a short bath in the refreshing waters. We continue the excursion walking behind the curtain of water (some 200 meters), which descends from the dashing Carrao River. Climbing to the top of the falls, we have an excellent view of the savannahs surrounding tropical forest and the tepuys:
unexplored majestic tabletop mountains considered the oldest rock formations of our planet. Return to the Camp for having lunch near the pink, sandy beach of Canaima Lagoon. Overnight at the camp. | | |

Canaima – Puerto Ordaz (BL) |

Breakfast. Take a walk around the camp to enjoy the surrounding nature. Visit the handcrafts boutiques or Pemon community. Transfer to the landing strip of Canaima. Flight to Puerto Ordaz. Transfer to the Hotel. Overnight. | | |

Day 4 |

Puerto Ordaz - Los Roques Archipelago (BLD) |

Breakfast. Transfer to the airport early in the morning to take the flight to Los Roques (passing by Caracas). After landing at the Gran Roque you will be transferred to the Posada, where you will receive assistance and information about the activities you could take while being on the island. As an option, sail along some of the keys and islands of this spectacular archipelago enjoying its magnificent coral reef barriers. You will also be offered to anchor in a small key where you can enjoy leisurely walks through strips of white sand beaches, a refreshing swim under the tropical sun and snorkeling. Time to spend in the warm waters that change from dark blue to green emerald. Transfer back to the Posada. Overnight. | | |

Los Roques Archipelago-Caracas (BL) |

Breakfast. Last day to enjoy the beach. Transfer to the airport to take the flight to Caracas, and then the connection back home. | | | |
