Buenos Aires is the capital of the tango and the football, of the gaucho. In the City that never sleeps, there is time and space for everyone. In this half-day tour, you will travel along the 9 de Julio Avenue, the widest in the city, you will spot the Obelisk, the most representative monument in the city, and the famous Colon Theatre (Opera House), a masterpiece of architecture with superb acoustics. You will then continue to San Telmo neighborhood, the birthplace of the city, and to May Square, one of the historical and political centers, surrounded by the Government House or the Casa Rosada, site of the national government, the Cabildo, historical building which was center of the colonial political life, the Metropolitan Cathedral and the Town Hall, site of the city government. Then on to La Boca district, picturesque neighborhood where the Italian immigrants settled the Caminito street. The tour continues along May Avenue, a typically Spanish area, to get to the Plaza de los dos Congresos, just in front of the Congress Building. Heading north, the tour gets to the aristocratic Recoleta district, known for its Cemetery and to Palermo, a wide and beautiful park located in the heart of one of the most elegant areas in the city.
